Why I chose Neal's Yard Remedies
I’ve never been one for over-consumerism, for being on-trend, or having a desire to have things just because. I suppose it’s my Engineering background and logical, practical approach which has rubbed off into personal choices, but also in a desire to help others find the best for their needs, not just selling for selling’s sake.
I suppose I am a conscious-consumer, not perfect, by any means but always learning, discovering & sharing on for those interested. I also have learnt over the years (15 working with certified organic products) that there’s plenty of mis-leading “green” claims out there - the green-washers, the get-arounders, and that’s why I first and foremost “look for the logo”. The logo of the Soil Association - UK certifiers of Organic products, although even within that there are levels of certification, so I look at the following things in addition to the logo - % Organic ingredients & Where it’s Made.
